AlaManoFix

AlaManoFix connects people who need reliable home services with verified professionals seeking serious customers and dependable payment workflows. It addresses the informal processes, no-shows, incomplete work, payment disputes, and lack of trust common in local service marketplaces.

The platform manages each request through a transactional service lifecycle covering discovery, booking, travel, arrival, work in progress, and completion. Customers and professionals receive real-time chat and notifications, while GPS-validated photographic evidence documents critical steps in the service.

Completion uses an asymmetric PIN or OTP supplied by the customer, preventing a professional from closing a job unilaterally. Stripe webhooks support reservation and payment validation flows; full escrow release, premium professional subscriptions, and native dispute management remain planned capabilities.

The application uses Next.js App Router and serverless API routes on Vercel, with MongoDB Atlas and Mongoose for persistence. Edge middleware protects HttpOnly JWT sessions and role-based routes, Pusher provides real-time events, Cloudinary stores service evidence, and Sentry monitors production errors.

As founder and full-stack developer, Alexis owns the product direction and implementation. Verified work includes the transactional workflow, OTP completion, geolocated photo evidence, Stripe webhook and email notifications, unified scope-of-work interfaces, professional search improvements, and automated testing with Playwright and Vitest. The product is in active MVP and preproduction development, with no verified business metrics yet.
